About Me and My Art

I am a photographer (and sometimes a model) from Southern California.

It's the mission of any artist to examine the human condition and challenge the status quo, encouraging people to think differently. And yet, our society has a nearly unchallenged line that gets drawn between "art" and "pornography."

There's nothing more natural than the human body. Human sexuality is wired into our being, and cannot be separated from the rest of our existence. And yet art that deals with these most natural of subjects is regarded as somehow less valid than art that pretends that we don't have bodies, pretends that we don't have sex.

I'm interested in exploring the male form and male sexuality. Normally a photographer interested in these topics would be arbitrarily classified as a pornographer. I stand here to say that this isn't porn, it's art.
